The General Machinery aggregate bin is a compartmented steel hopper that stores sand, gravel and crushed-stone fractions in separate cells and feeds a concrete batching plant. 2-8 bins, 10-50 m³ per bin, 20-500 m³ total stock. Pneumatic bin gates, a load-cell weigh belt and an optional vibro motor deliver smart dosing.
The General Machinery aggregate bin is a compartmented steel hopper that stores sand, gravel and crushed-stone (aggregate) fractions in separate cells and feeds a concrete batching plant under control. Each bin holds a different aggregate size; pneumatically driven bin gates open under automation control and material drops onto the weigh belt. A load-cell scale performs smart dosing.
Working principle
Mobile vs stationary bin
The mobile bin is chassis-mounted, fast to move and matches mobile plants. The stationary bin is for larger cells (up to 4×30 m³) and high-tonnage production on a permanent foundation.
Applications
Single-supplier bridge
The General Machinery aggregate bin is fed by our own crushing-screening output and in turn feeds our own batching plant — one supplier, one chain. It offers up to 500 m³ of stock and 2-8 bin flexibility. Global crusher giants such as Metso, Sandvik and Kleemann do not offer batching-plant integration; we deliver the whole line from one hand.
S: How many bins can an aggregate bin have?
C: It is produced as standard with 2, 3, 4 and 5 bins; 6-, 7- and 8-bin configurations are built to order. The bin count is chosen to match the number of aggregate fractions you feed to your plant.
S: What is the total stock capacity?
C: Capacity per bin is 10-50 m³; total stock can be engineered from 20 m³ up to 500 m³. High stock supports uninterrupted, high-tonnage production.
S: How is the bin loaded?
C: A wheel loader or truck can fill the bins directly from a ramp; alternatively it can be fed by an aggregate pre-feed unit or a conveyor belt.
S: Does wet or sticky material cause blockages?
C: For wet, clayey or sticky aggregate an optional vibro motor is fitted per bin. The vibro motor keeps material flowing continuously and prevents bridging and blockage.
S: What plate thickness is the bin made from?
C: The body is fabricated from bent plate 12-10-8 mm thick with a hinged side door. This thickness ensures long service life against heavy aggregate loads and dynamic wear.
