The Mobile Primary Jaw Crusher combines an armoured feeder hopper and a jaw crusher on a single chassis as a portable primary crushing unit. It accepts 0-1100 mm feed, delivers 0-250 mm product and works at 40-300 t/h depending on model. It is towed by a single truck and commissioned without foundations on hydraulic legs.
Working principle
Material is reduced by compression between a fixed jaw and an eccentric-shaft moving jaw; product discharges at the CSS setting. The unit handles the primary stage only; secondary and tertiary stages are added as separate units so the plant grows stage by stage.
Material and application
The jaw compression principle suits every hardness and abrasivity class and is the correct primary choice for high-silica, abrasive rock such as granite and basalt, where it does not consume metal as fast as an impact primary. Jaw plates are austenitic manganese steel (Mn13/Mn18) that work-hardens under impact. Typical reduction 4:1-9:1.
Bridge to a full plant
This unit does not produce a full gradation; for a closed-circuit screened solution see Mobile Crushing Plants, and for the next stage see the Mobile Secondary Impact or Mobile Cubicizer units. Request a quote for model selection and pricing.
