The Mobile Primary Impact Crusher combines a feeder hopper and a primary horizontal-shaft impact (HSI) crusher on a single chassis. It accepts 0-1200 mm feed, delivers 0-70 mm cubical product and works at 80-500 t/h. It accepts larger feed than a jaw and gives high reduction in one pass.
Working principle
The blow bars on a horizontal rotor throw material against breaker plates; reduction is by free impact, not compression. This principle can combine the primary and secondary stage in one machine; the unit is single-chassis and towed by one truck.
Material and application
The ideal field is low-silica, brittle rock such as limestone and dolomite, where the HSI gives up to 20:1 reduction and long blow-bar life. In high free-quartz basalt/granite the impactor works but wear accelerates sharply; a jaw primary plus cubicizer/cone secondary is then recommended. Blow-bar choice follows the material: high-chrome white iron for clean-abrasive feed, manganese/martensitic where tramp iron is a risk.

S: Which material is it suited to?
C: Best for limestone/dolomite; it works on hard, abrasive rock but blow-bar wear rises.
S: What is the reduction ratio?
C: Up to 20:1 in limestone; typically 4:1-6:1.
S: What is the product size?
C: It delivers 0-70 mm cubical product.
S: What is the capacity?
C: 80-500 t/h: M-PDK01 250-500, M-PDK02 200-300 t/h.
S: Should I choose a jaw or an impactor?
C: Impactor for soft/low-abrasive material; jaw for hard/abrasive rock.
