The GNR YM1240 is a COMPACT mobile sand washing-and-screening plant rated at 60-100 tph. A sand hopper, washing screen and screw scrub river and mountain sand with water, stripping clay and silt. Screw-discharge moisture ~15-30%, or 8-20% with hydrocyclone+dewatering. Small footprint, single chassis; mains or generator. The GNR YM1240 is a compact mobile washing-and-screening plant rated at 60-100 tph that tucks into tight yards. Feeding a washing screen and a screw from one sand hopper, it cleans river and mountain sand with water and drives off clay and silt. It accepts 0-100 mm feed, is loaded by bucket, ties into a generator where mains is absent, and sits on an 18,000 kg one-piece chassis. How the compact wash chain works The trick behind its small size is a two-step wash chain bolted onto the dry screen: Technical figures Output sizes and mesh apertures are settled at the ordering stage to match the material. Moisture and dewatering At the screw discharge, moisture usually sits in the 15-30% band. Want a drier, stockpilable sand fit for a mortar/concrete recipe? Add a hydrocyclone and a dewatering screen to the chain and moisture is pulled to 8-20%. Clay severity is read off the Methylene Blue Value (MBV) or the Sand Equivalent (SE). Why compact YM, not ME YM washes (screw + washing screen); ME screens dry. Unable to break clay or shed moisture, the ME series falls short on clayey/wet feed. The YM1240 meets that need in the smallest body (60-100 tph, ~1200×4000 mm screen); when tonnage climbs the YM1650 (120-180 tph) steps in. Its dry counterpart is the GNR ME1650. Where it is used River and mountain sand washing, clean aggregate for concrete plants, and construction/chemical-industry sand grades. It runs off a generator on off-grid yards; its small body cuts haulage and shortens erection. One-desk washing line Washing lines stay weak at most builders; General Machinery hands over screw, bucket-wheel and log washers plus dewatering with a batching plant covered on the same desk. The YM1240 is drawn as a line integrated with crushing-screening, extra washers and a batching plant — one contact, matched spares. S: Does the GNR YM1240 clean clay? C: Yes; the washing screen and screw wash the sand with water and separate clay and silt. That is the core difference from the dry-screening ME series. S: What are capacity and feed? C: 60-100 tph, 0-100 mm feed. It is loaded by bucket and stockpiles on by-product belts. S: How wet is the washed sand? C: Typically ~15-30% at the screw discharge. Add a hydrocyclone + dewatering screen and it drops to 8-20% — stockpilable, fit for mortar/concrete control. S: Why the compact YM1240? C: It packs washing-and-screening into the smallest body; it fits tight yards and hauls cheaply. For higher tonnage, choose the YM1650. S: How do I get price and delivery? C: Send General Machinery your target capacity, the material's clay content and your moisture/output expectations; a project-specific configuration, price and lead time come as a quotation.
