The GNR YM1240 is a compact mobile washing-and-screening plant rated at 60-100 tph that tucks into tight yards. Feeding a washing screen and a screw from one sand hopper, it cleans river and mountain sand with water and drives off clay and silt. It accepts 0-100 mm feed, is loaded by bucket, ties into a generator where mains is absent, and sits on an 18,000 kg one-piece chassis.

Moisture and dewatering
At the screw discharge, moisture usually sits in the 15-30% band. Want a drier, stockpilable sand fit for a mortar/concrete recipe? Add a hydrocyclone and a dewatering screen to the chain and moisture is pulled to 8-20%. Clay severity is read off the Methylene Blue Value (MBV) or the Sand Equivalent (SE).
Why compact YM, not ME
YM washes (screw + washing screen); ME screens dry. Unable to break clay or shed moisture, the ME series falls short on clayey/wet feed. The YM1240 meets that need in the smallest body (60-100 tph, ~1200×4000 mm screen); when tonnage climbs the YM1650 (120-180 tph) steps in. Its dry counterpart is the GNR ME1650.
Where it is used
River and mountain sand washing, clean aggregate for concrete plants, and construction/chemical-industry sand grades. It runs off a generator on off-grid yards; its small body cuts haulage and shortens erection.
