The GNR series tertiary crusher is a third-stage impactor that turns secondary product into fine, cubical aggregate and 0–5 mm manufactured sand. Capacity 70–300 tph, rotor 1200×650–1200×1500 mm, feed 150 mm, 132–250 kW. High shape quality on limestone and low-to-medium abrasive lines. The GNR series tertiary crusher is a third-stage impactor that turns secondary product into fine, cubical aggregate and manufactured sand (0–5 mm). With a small inlet and high rotor speed it reduces material to final size, delivering high-shape-quality fines for asphalt and concrete. Technical data Working principle Fine crushing and shaping are done in a high-speed rotor by impact and rock-metal interaction. Maximum feed is limited to 150 mm. Stage: tertiary/quaternary. Material and application Suitable: manufactured sand and fine chippings from limestone and low-to-medium abrasive rock. Note: for high-silica material (granite/basalt/gravel) a VSI (vertical shaft) is more economical and more cubical than a tertiary impactor; abrasive sand wears impact parts fast. Wet clay feed clogs and must be washed first. Reduction and wear (TCO) Reduction is low-to-medium (mostly fine crushing/shaping); the target is 0–5 mm sand and specific fine fractions. High rotor speed can raise part consumption; abrasive material needs high-chrome/ceramic-MMC. Switching to a VSI on abrasive sand lowers cost per tonne. In TCO, sand quality, part life and downtime are decisive. The tertiary crusher is part of the manufactured-sand → washing → dewatering chain; we supply the line with screw/bucket washers and fine-material screens from a single source. S: What does a tertiary crusher produce? C: Fine cubical aggregate and 0–5 mm manufactured sand. S: Tertiary impactor or VSI? C: Tertiary impactor for low-abrasive; VSI is more economical for high-silica/abrasive material. S: What is the maximum feed size? C: 150 mm across our series. S: Is manufactured sand suitable for concrete? C: Yes; shape/gradation and washing meet ASTM/EN specs. S: How can I get a quote? C: Send us your capacity and material; we provide a project-specific quote and full-plant solution.
