GNR PDK Series Primary Impact Crusher
Summary: The GNR PDK series primary impact crusher (HSI) breaks coarse limestone and concrete waste by impact. Capacity 250–900 tph, rotor 1400×1500–1600×2000 mm, feed 900–1300 mm, 200–500 kW. On limestone it delivers up to 20:1 reduction and highly cubical product in one stage.…
The GNR PDK series primary impact crusher (HSI) breaks coarse limestone and concrete waste by impact. Capacity 250–900 tph, rotor 1400×1500–1600×2000 mm, feed 900–1300 mm, 200–500 kW. On limestone it delivers up to 20:1 reduction and highly cubical product in one stage.
The GNR PDK series primary impact crusher is a horizontal-shaft impactor (HSI) in which blow bars on the rotor throw material against the breaker plates, breaking it by free impact. On low-to-medium abrasive soft rock — especially limestone and concrete recycling — it gives very high reduction and cubical product in a single stage.
Technical data
Working principle
Blow bars on the high-speed rotor strike the feed, which shatters against the aprons/breaker plates (impact, not compression). The large inlet accepts coarse feed. Stage: primary, for soft-to-medium non-abrasive rock.
Material and application
Suitable: limestone (Ai~0.001–0.03), dolomite, soft-to-medium non-abrasive rock and C&D concrete recycling. Not suitable: granite, basalt, quartzite and river gravel with silica >10% / Ai >0.15 consume blow bars within hours; jaw+cone is preferred there.
Reduction and wear (TCO)
Reduction is very high: 4:1–6:1 in general, up to 20:1 on limestone (40:1 with twin rotor). The main wear part is the blow bar: high-chrome white iron (~700–800 HB) for clean high abrasion; tough manganese/martensitic against tramp iron in C&D; ceramic-insert MMC (~2-3× life) for very high silica. Correct alloy choice sets the cost per tonne.
The PDK is the primary machine of a complete limestone plant covering crushing, screening, washing and concrete batching, supplied from a single source.
S: Which material is a primary impact crusher for?
C: Low-abrasive material such as limestone, dolomite and concrete recycling.
S: Does it crush granite or basalt?
C: It can, but high silica quickly consumes the blow bars; jaw+cone is recommended for those rocks.
S: What is the reduction ratio?
C: Up to 20:1 on limestone — far higher than a jaw crusher.
S: How long do blow bars last?
C: It depends on material and alloy; high-chrome gives long life on clean limestone.
S: How can I get a quote?
C: Send us your capacity and material; we provide a project-specific quote and full-plant solution.
