The Linde E 30 ION 1252 is a 3-tonne electric counterbalance forklift built in 2024, with 29 hours on the meter — effectively new.
The ION in the model name means lithium-ion battery, and that is the important difference from its lead-acid equivalent. A lithium-ion pack accepts opportunity charging: short top-ups during breaks carry the truck through a full shift, with no battery-change station and no spare pack. The watering, ventilation and dedicated battery room also disappear.
Service weight is 5,597 kg. Because lithium-ion is lighter than lead-acid, this machine is noticeably lighter than conventional electric forklifts of the same capacity — which can be decisive on upper floors with a floor loading limit.
