Schelling Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH

Schelling Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH is a family business founded in 1998 by Gerd Schelling and based in Wardenburg, in the German state of Lower Saxony. As the authorised Unimog general agent and service partner of Daimler Truck AG, it serves the north-west of Lower Saxony. The founder's sons Matthias and Tobias Schelling represent the second generation in the company, which employs more than sixty people. The company sells new and used commercial vehicles, from light vans through Unimog carriers with or without crane to municipal trucks. Alongside the vehicles it stocks the attachments they need — spreaders, snow ploughs and mowing equipment — and keeps roughly 80 to 100 vehicles available at any time. The range also includes Energreen remote-controlled green maintenance machines, forklifts and materials handling equipment, weed control machinery, trailers and body equipment. Beyond sales the company provides maintenance, repair, body building and conversion work, and vehicle rental. Since 2005 a service branch in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg has offered the same range of services to customers in that region. Schelling Kommunalservice GmbH, founded in 2015, provides comprehensive services for municipalities. Both sites operate a 24-hour emergency service.
